The Avon Lake Historical Society is a 501 (c) 3 organization based in Avon Lake, Ohio. We have existed in one form or another since 1968. We work with all historical and community groups in the city to share news and information about preservation and education activities. We strive to connect interested parties to shine a light on our past, and preserve it for our future.
We meet at the Avon Lake Public Library on the second Monday of each month at 1 pm — June, July and August excepted.
Our monthly meetings feature speakers and programs of interest to members and the community, and are open to all. Business meetings follow.
Membership is $10 per current calendar year, payable to our Treasurer. Membership supports our programs and activities and included a Christmas luncheon.
